One man's spam is another man's meal. Fools got to eat too, ya know. FGA is
just trolling like so many others that paint a pretty facade to stimulate
sales. They don't have much time and resourses left after advertising costs
for things like precision products. The first time I allowed a client to
provide a replacement long block for me to install it was from FGA. Within
5 minutes of start up it started knocking. The oil was GREY. I speculate
with reguard to assembly lube, the "if some is good and more is better than
too much is just enough" principle was applied and created a hydrolic
blockage, having filled a good portion of one of the oil passages at a
bearing journal with a  white lithium grease of some sort slaped on by the
hand full as extra protection for those fine Brazillian bearings.
Of course, the client though I should share in his misfortune by
subsidizing the failure, even though I advised him against loss leader
Californicated engines. The only recomendation I gave him prior to the work
with reference to FGA was, "I don't know, have no experience with their
products, can't say good, bad or ugly."
