One man's spam is another man's meal. Fools got to eat too, ya know. FGA is just trolling like so many others that paint a pretty facade to stimulate sales. They don't have much time and resourses left after advertising costs for things like precision products. The first time I allowed a client to provide a replacement long block for me to install it was from FGA. Within 5 minutes of start up it started knocking. The oil was GREY. I speculate with reguard to assembly lube, the "if some is good and more is better than too much is just enough" principle was applied and created a hydrolic blockage, having filled a good portion of one of the oil passages at a bearing journal with a white lithium grease of some sort slaped on by the hand full as extra protection for those fine Brazillian bearings. Of course, the client though I should share in his misfortune by subsidizing the failure, even though I advised him against loss leader Californicated engines. The only recomendation I gave him prior to the work with reference to FGA was, "I don't know, have no experience with their products, can't say good, bad or ugly." Post this if you wish.
