Michael; I think your original problem is a radiator that has lost cooling efficiency. I took mine out and had it professionally "blasted" out. Now you might have an internal head gasket leak. If you mechanic has an emissions analyzer he can stick the wand in the overflow tank and sniff for combustion gasses. First have the radiator cleaned out. DO NOT just flush the system yourself.
