Matt; Make sure the new boots are stretched out to the ridges on the axles. On the first couple I did I thought that seemed like a lot of tension on the rubber so I left them more relaxed. What happens is the bellows will then rub on each other and create heat. This leads to premature failure. TMSAISWI.
