Hi Volks: With all this talk of A/C's - (even in the winter!).... It is important to turn on your A/C's periodically - the colder out it is - the more important doing this becomes. Turning on the A/C wets the seals, and prevents leakage of the refridgerant. Leakage due to the drying out of seals is not a rare problem - it is very common. Best to do this when the van is fully warm inside. Once a week in cold weather is adequate, IMHO. (think I read this in the manual too.)
