Gang, I have been reading with interest the threads on the DIY press and one use the writers have mentioned was CV Joints? This puzzles me as if I remove the circlip from the end of my half shaft I better have my hand ready or the joint will be on the ground in two seconds - as it just slides right off the shaft. No pulling required! A problem I have been having of late is the joints becoming lose i.e. all six bolts backing out of the transmission drive. I always torque them on with the proper driver, do they require some sort of loctite? Are you not suppose to use the bolts over again i.e. do they stretch like escort head bolts? Any Comments?
