Yep, and I don't recommend it! I cant remember if it was the Syncro axle,
or from some other VW, but the race and balls jammed tight, and I had to
hammer on the outer race to get it loosened again. I was not going to
replace the joint at first, but did after this, as the outer race got
damaged both from the jammed balls, and the impact from the hammer.
