Larry;
        It will work IF the pulling force is applied to the inner race of
the CV joint. I had to adapt my gear puller to accomplish this. I
attached the arms to two piece of inch square stock bolted on either side
of the shaft behind the CV joint. The end of the axle has a dimple that
accepts the center screw of the puller.
