Subject: Antifreeze in combustion chamber...
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

All, I just finished doing a head gasket job in a 1985 GL. The job went fine except now after a short engine start and shutdown (a few minutes or so) we get antifreeze from the exhaust port. The green o-ring and the flat metal seal were placed correctly before we put the heads back on. Will the seals "work themselves in" is the question I have. We don't really want to take the head off again. Thanks for any advice or words of support. Rich and Annemarie '98' Beetle '85 GL "Buba"
