The fix is good for both systems - but a better fix, which is about $148.00 cheaper, and much faster to accomplish (if you were planning on visiting the dealer) is as follows:

>> The 5 min fix is to get some electronic cleaner at the FLAPS, carefully >> remove the cover of your AFM (it is siliconed closed from the factory), and >> spray the wiper contact surface liberally. Move the wiper carefuly back and forth a few times. Let >> the cleaner evaporate. >> >> Replace cover, and seal with a good tape. >> >> Make sure it is electronic (not electrical) cleaner -evaporates super fast, >> very cold as it evaporates, comes in a can sorta like wd-40, many brands are >> good, they're all basically the same formula. >>

Hope this helps,

Marshall Ruskin

Dear List,

Can anyone confirm whether or not the famous/infamous cap fix for the AFM is for BOTH digijet and digifant engines?

Also, does anyone have a good engine compartment wiring harness for sale?

Thanks,

Woody
