I installed a set of Michelin MXT's on my 87 Syncro over the Thanksgiving holiday (AKA: Vanagon service marathon). The manufacturer's door jamb sticker recommends 36psi(F)/40psi(R) for a 205/70 14 reinforced tire. I currently have them at 42psi(F)/46psi(R). I would be interested in what others are using for pressures with this tire in dry conditions and what changes they make, if any, for lower pressures in snow/ice conditions. Best wishes, Tony Anthony L. Mourkas Hampden, Maine, USA 1984 Vanagon Westfalia 1987 Vanagon GL Syncro 1991 Jetta Eco Diesel |
