I volunteer to get started on this.

I would begin assembling this info by collecting the stories to see how big a task this is. Vanagons have lots of problems! I could then determine if spreadsheets would work or a true database like Access would be better. Coyote could post the info on Vanagon.com.

Depending on the results, there could be multiple spreadsheets for vehicle type, problem category, etc. The data itself should show how it needs to be organized. The possibility also exists of putting it on a CD for distribution.

It does have to be a finite list, right? Or are new problems constantly cropping up!?

Maybe the best way to get going is to send your tip to the list and copy me at this address. Please keep it brief and to the point, and use the word "WISDOM" in the subject line so I can sort these into a folder.

Comments? Do the list members want to get all the tips this way in the next few weeks.
