Speaking of them five bangers, I saw one in the pick yer part yard on Trade Zone in North San Jose Sunday afternoon. Audi I thinks. I am not interested in that swap (try getting that one by the smoggers in California by yerself) so I didn't look to closely. It did seem to be all there and I did count the

spark plugs. Besides that, the pickins were pretty slim for vanagoners.

On another note, is it possible to pull the tach out of a Scirocco or Fancy rabbit/golf and install in place of the clock in the 84 wasserbox? I seem to remember a flexible circuit board on the back of the dash panel in the only scirocco I ever workrd on (an 82) that had a voltage regulator that liked to flake out. The size looks right though. Anybody done a swap like that?
