I like that policy. You've got to join the club to know who is in it.  It
affirms a marginal amount of M.A.D.S., Mutually Assured Destruction by Spam
if someone steps out of line. So, no funny stuff, or your mailbox gets
crammed with Get-Rich Quick, S&M porn, Quixtar, and "get in on the ground
floor" stock hawk cr*p.

Of course, I think the list ought to also have a user-chosen rating on a
scale of 1-10, their general willingness to help a fellow Vanagon owner,
and a distance in Miles or kilometers they would be willing to travel to do
so. Perhaps also a mitigating rating for weather conditions...Let's face
it, there's no sense in expecting me to be helpful when it's cold and
rainy, and you are broken down 20 miles away. Give me a break.
