Subject: Heads leaking....how long do I have before self destruct?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I recently bought an 85 Westy with 150K orig miles. The engine runs very strong but it has started to leak antifreeze on the driveway from one head. I am very reluctant to add stop-leak additives.

Unfortunately, I don't know the history on the van because I bought it from a clue-less used car dealer. How long should I drive the van before I get the heads done, rebuild, or replace this engine?

Thanks for any help.

-Jason 85 Westy "Fred"
