Content-Type: text/plain; charset="x-user-defined"

Hi, I'm not on the list so please reply to me directly - I think I'll be joining soon.

After writing last time to ask about timing I got such accurate prompt responses that I was impressed . Actually made me a little envious, as I am part of a T3 ( Fastback Squareback etc. ) club whose responses aren't this diligent - Hey I Found the word in the dictionary O.K. ;-} Anyway , I'm writing to ask If anyone has converted the air-cooled type Vanagons form dual to single carb - what to look out for ? Is it better ? what to do about the air filter ?

Where can I buy a manifold ? Anyone got a used one ? Is the water -cooled single carb setup good for me ? what size carb to go to ? which is recommended for stock setup ?
