Hi all,

Did VW give up on limited slip differentials?  My 1971 bus hardly ever got
stuck.  My, new to me, 1984 Vanagon will spin the right rear tire with very
little effort.  Starting up a slight incline that has damp leaves or snow
and that's it - stuck!  The same situation with my '71 - no problem at all.
I can't believe it!  I have basically the same type of street tires on both
vehicles.  Please educate me.
