Does anyone have anything bad to say about the Gabriel Air Ryder shocks. I
need them tomorrow morning. They are available locally.

I would consider Gabriel as my first, second, or third choice, but they are
better than nothing.
I have (in leaner times) put Gabriel "Gas Ryder" schlocks on VW vans, and
the ride was decent. The shock didn't last worth beans, particularly if you
load you van heavily, or off-road, or both (which I do/have done while
camping). They are good shocks to put on the van if you are getting ready
to sell it, and don't want to invest much. I'd stick with Boge, or
Bilstien, if you can wait and order them through Corby Arbuckle, a.k.a.,
any list vendor.
