The rubber compound is way too soft for driving in summer temperatures, and
they will wear rapidly in like 10k miles. Literally every car here in Norway,
and I am sure in Sweden and Finland too, have two sets of tires, one set of
summer tires (usually with some fine alloys and low profile tires) and one set
of winter tires (usually stock steel wheels w/ hubcaps). One can get all-season
tires too (I know they are popular in the US) but they are not recommended by
the tire dealers, they say the tire is not optimal for either summer nor
winter.
