Ron, Two things come to mind. The Vanagon has a near 50-50 weight distribution, whereas your bus is tail heavy. Throw four 100lb bags of sand in the back of the Vanagon, and you'll have better traction. Secondly, "Vanaru" indicates your may have a Subaru engine in the engine room.
