Paul,Jason the 2.1 engine is a great upgrade for the older 1.9 engine the oil filter tube from the 1.9 needs to be installed on the 2.1 block I can set it up that way if needed the 1.9 exhaust fits with no problems that im aware of I can sell you a 2.1 longblock in exchange for your 1.9 for $2350 ready to install I also have hardware kits with all neeeded to install the exhaust and externals Bob Donalds http://www.bostonengine.com
