Subject: Return or Feed line (coolant)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi everybody It has been a long time since I posted something and I hope once again to find answers from all the wonderful people on this list..

I have a coolant leak from one the two main lines, just behind the spare tire. My mechanic says I need to change the return line. The leak comes from the hose on the driver's side.

1-Is the hose on the driver'side, the feed or return line? 2-Are the two hoses the same in terms of lenght and shape? 3-Should I have the mechanic change both lines or only the one that is broken ? (should I worry about the other one?) 4- Does the gaz tank need to be removed in order to replace those lines?

5- These ones are for Ron at the Bus Depot... a- My mechanic says that the part number is 251 121 399 M...but you at the Bus Depot, you list 251 121 083 H. Are these two parts the same? (My van is a 1991)

b- Do you think you can ship me these 2 hoses within 2-3 days in Vancouver via Canada and/or US Post? On my last order, UPS was too expensive (plus customs)...to the point where the savings were almost reduced to nothing compare to what I would have paid at the dealer. The mechanic here is asking 136.00CDN$ for replacing the return line. I know yours is at 51 US$...Shipping one or two would the same price about???

Thanks in advance for yours answers.
