Subject: Re: Removing water pump pulley

I had mine on a bench at the time when I removed the pulley, so just a screwdriver into the impeller blades held mine. I built a bead blaster and now it looks like new. Great fun watching the rust and crud simply disappear in the blast cabinet. There really is a special tool for the pulley removal job, for people looking for holiday gift ideas. It looks like an open triangle, made of thin metal, with an offset handle on one end. The open triangle traps the 3 bolts to hold the pulley from turning. I think Baum Tools has it in their catalog.
