Subject: 84 Westy For Sale - $ 2,900
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

The following was advertised today in the Minneapolis Tribune.

84 Westfalia, 4 speed, 199K, yellow exterior, brown interior, $ 2,900.

Since it was only a mile from me, I checked it out. It runs well, although it does need at least one cv or u-joint. The body is in good shape, with a little seam rust on the driver's side. The interior is in fine shape. All camping equipment is in working order. No a/c. Test drive went fine, no surprises. It has phosphate-free antifreeze and no apparent coolant leaks. The owner has had the van for three years and has had it properly maintained at a local VW shop. He doesn't know the prior service history.

Please contact the owner directly, as I have no interest in this van other than curiosity. He is Alex Fane (612) 927-5675. His e-mail is fanex@ibm.net

This seems like a nice Westy at a very fair price. If I can be of further help to interested Listees, please contact me directly.
