After talking to several shops in my area, and feeling unsure about the info. they had, I call Bear (sp)?. They make a ton of alignment machines. They claim there is nothing special about the front end of the Vanagon syncro, except they had the wrong number several years ago. So if the shop you use is keeping there equipment up to date, you should not have a problem.
