Joseph-

Two things to check. First, the latch on the right side of the sink cover
may be deformed/broken. Try to lift your sink lid and see if it releases,
or has some 'slack' in it. Ours did. I replaced the striker plate with one
off one of the deep wells and it stopped rattling.

If that is too much futzing for you, cover your burner grill with a towel,
then close the sink cover. We did this for about a month until I figured
out the stuff in paragraph one.

My kitchen is really vibrating lately. It seems to be the steel that is
vibrating. I've looked at it and can't figure if there is anything I can
tighten
up. Maybe I just need a better sound system to turn up so I can't  hear it.
Any way it's bugging  me a lot these days.  Anyone have any tips?
