Subject: Re: Auxiliary fuel tanks
Content-Type: text/plain

I know of someone who is a regular on the westfalia.org site - Mike Sohnlein - that installed what looks like a very professionally done aux. fuel tank below the floor on the passenger side. There is a picture posted of the tank, and of the other numerous mods he made to his van - I'm sure he wouldn't mind being contacted for more info. The pics are a little tough to get to - I'll do my best to explain...

Go to http://www.westfalia.org/ . Follow the link where it says "Follow the LINK to post and view your favorite Westy pics". Here's the catch... you've got to join the westfalia owners website "club" on Yahoo to see the pics. (It doesn't cost anything and I haven't had a problem with junk mail.) Once you get in, click "photos" on the "Our Pages" bar on the left. From the list of photo groups, choose "Westy Accessories" posted by "captmike67' on May 16, 1999. I know - it's a lot of work for a few pics. Maybe someone on the list would save the good ones to their own website so all can see without the hassle?
