re: Is $150 a fair price?

Well, of course the British have only apparently recently learned about rust, and the gas tank on my '89 Range Rover rusted out and required replacement -- $405. Just a few months after I did this I was reimbursed by Land Rover North America because this became a safety recall. I could have claimed installation labor, but I did it myself and didn't (didn't recover the $50 I spent having the new one fixed when I broke it either). $150 is wonderful. My friend with a Eurovan says dealer wants $600 to replace fuel system clamps that are leaking on all Eurovans with new design.
