I find that most of that noise comes from the heat deflector/drain pan that
sits above the stove.  I can get rid of most of the noise by using a small
towel in between the stove and the deflector.  (doesn't always work, though)

Of course, you may want to review all the junk you have accumulated in your
kitchen drawer...  :-)  (I recently discovered a 1/2 eaten packet of peanut
butter crackers that I must have used last summer to appease our now three
year old ...)

My kitchen is really vibrating lately. It seems to be the steel that is
vibrating. I've looked at it and can't figure if there is anything I can
tighten
up. Maybe I just need a better sound system to turn up so I can't  hear it.
Any way it's bugging  me a lot these days.  Anyone have any tips?
