Thanks to the list for all the interest in the Vanagon conversion kit
from South Africa. The first order was a success and we have announced
the second order date for end of January which will arrive in March.
There will be a small price increase for orders rec'd after 31 Dec. 1999
from the factory of $175.00. The new price for 2 WD Vanagon will be $
3875.00 and the Syncro will be $ 4475.00 plus freight.


Owners with running engines were able to make this conversion less
expensive then a complete rebuild by selling the running engine and
remaining parts. The used engines sell for up to $ 1000.00.
