Well damn... This could be done... just with the vanagons living out in my driveway.

81 Westy... with poptop (the rest trashed, no stove, 12volt icebax (was that standard?)(trashed anyway), needs a tranny, and the block broke open, body is perfect!).

84 WasserLeaker with Carat interior (that is the one with the rear facing seat behind the driver, small cabinet and overhead, pop-up table, fold out bed, and the plastic interior sidewalls?)(also needs a head gasket (at least) done.

83 AC (not relevent to this conversation).

and complete set of cabinets with large cabinet, overhead, sink, 3way fridge, and stove (matches the interior of the 84), water tanks, etc .

So all I have to do is figure out how brave to get with the 84. Do I make a full blown multivan with stove/fridge/sink?

With or without poptop?

Or do I leave it alone (and fix the motor), and use it for a weekender and fix the 81 up with all the spare westy parts?

Dern!
