Subject: MultiVan, was: cooking in the van....

The Multi-van is what results when a Westfalia DeLuxe is stabled with a 7-passenger Vanagon...

Genetically, the traits for a pop-top, upper berth, rear closet, and bench seat storage are dominant. The traits for a stove, sink, side cabinetry, water tank, and refrigerator are completely repressed. New traits evolve from the union, as a "pop-out" table is formed on the driver's side bulkhead, and a pair of rear-facing jump seats grow behind the front seats.

It is really a nice set up, if you don't need the long-term camping gear.

I have seen multivans advertised. Am I under a mistaken idea that they are normal 7 passenger vans with a poptops?
