I used the seats out of a Westy in my van and they are about one inch or so lower than the regular V'gon seats. This does not represent a problem for me, but it could for a 7' tall person i guess :-). The swivels are in two pieces. The top piece can be unbolted from teh bottom and removed, but the bottom piece must be cut away from the Westy with a Sawzall or similar tool. (Otherwise known as a reciprocating saw.) Not too hard to do, but make sure you leave enough metal around the edges of the bottom bracket so that you can reattach the swivel mechs to your van. Good luck, Stefan |
