The Pod Speakers on a non-Westy GL don't have any screws. They are a one piece unit that mount to the cealing using a small bracket. While thinking about this, I have come to the conclusion that the pods were made very light for a reason. If one was to experience a rapid deaccelleration event (i.e. crash) the speakers could be ripped from their mounts and become projectiles. The heavier the speaker the more dangerous they become. I don't want to install speakers in the rear panels, because I often carry a load of camping equipment which would cover them up. I will keep thinking about this and will report back.
