I had the same problem before my last tranny rebuild. Turns out that oil had leaked into the bellhousing and on to my clutch plates. I replaced the oil seal, cleaned up my clutch plates dry, and its been great ever since. I don't know how tranny fluid can get in to the clutch housing.. though. Any thoughts from anyone else?
