My 2 cents worth: Never heard of water wetter hurting any thing, ever. Sometimes it works a treat, lots of racers use it on account of anything that will help cool a racing engine is a 'good thing'. Some swear by it, some say it does nothing but still use it 'just cause'. I've used it on several engines, from a 440 Dodge in a motorhome to a VW rabbit. If there was cooling fluid flow it seemed to work. But you probably don't want to use it in a leaking system, at $9 a bottle replacing it adds up fast. Mike '85 Westy [No water wetter in it so far]
