Subject: interesting but prohibitivly expensive engine swap idea
Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII

i have a cad program on my computer and i was messing around with putting different engine/driveline combo's in my cadvan, and the one i thought had the most promise(the coolest by my standpoint) was this one.

engine: volkswagen w-12 longitudinally mounted(as a mid-engine) sitting between the middle and rear seats

tranny: porsche sequential tranny(gear shifter would still be stock 4-speed floor shifter but adapted to sequential)

fuel cell: like on c5 corvette two 20 gallon "side pods" with a center output and stock input

electrical: 2 separate wiring harnesses one for engine and one for rest of van/audio equipment

body: bmw racing fender skirts housing 19" wheels in rear and 17" wheels up front(like the nsx for most rotational stability)

well now y'all know i really have too much free time here at college.

peace. out.
