I've just stuck the carver P4 in my van. Maybe the output has changed on these beasts, as mine states a heat output of 2.2Kw, which translates to 7,500 btu's.

The brochure does mention heat twice in the technical data section and lists two temperatures. I'm just assuming it produces the lower of the two.

Max heat output = 2.2kw = 7500btu Gas consumption : Full heat 2.4kw (175gms/h) = 8189btu

I haven't had chance to really use it, but I'll be spending a few weekends in the van up at Tahoe this winter, and we'll see how it goes.
