swivals arent part of the seat. they're a 3 part mechanism, the bottom most plate being welded to the westfalia. if you want them, you must cut them out of the junked westy with a cutoff saw, die cutter, torch, etc. then re-weld them into your van, in the same place. you can use ANY vanagon seats with the swival bases.

fyi, i have a tan pair of velour vanagon seats w/ armrests, if anyone's interested. chris
