In my experience the customer is always right. If you want blue coolant in your van, and are willing to pay for it, then I put it in. If you want green, then I put that in (I recommend green). The point is they should have asked you ahead of time (or maybe you should have told them?) your coolant preference and then done what you wanted. This saves alot of problems. Even if the coolants are the same as far as protection goes ( I think they are) you will always have this thing in your mind that if you had just gone with the blue stuff the gaskets would have lasted longer, etc (even if it is only a mental thing). I try to ask my customers all of their preferences on stuff like this before I get started. It is their van after all :)
