Personally, I prefer to drive my van up a ramp at the end of my driveway - or push, as it were this past week - that the guy who built our house in 1936 installed, so he could work on his tractor and cars. I just walk down the hill and around under van. There's enough head-room - Max Headroom? - for me, at 5'9" to stand up straight and do any and all work underneath without fatigue. My next door neighbor, the son of the builder of my house, insisted that he rebuild the ramp this past summer, and supplied the railroad ties and all. I just lent a hand.

Lucky me...
