It is not so strange, when you pull history into the picture. Imagine yourself (or a better image, what do I know ;-) sitting on top of a stallion, with full armor, holding a lance in your right hand arm, ready to poke Sir Chevrolet off of his stallion. If you were both riding on the right side of the "road", you'd have to hold the lance crossed over to the other side, or hold it on your left arm.

Is this really the correct explanation to why the Brits, and large parts of the commonwealth drive on the left side of the road? I don't know, but maybe some of you do?
