It has been done, but if it is only the engine you are looking at, it could be
very expensive. You would be better off with a donor car, to get all the
electronics stuff, and you also say the engine is "almost perfect". Does this
mean repair is necessary? If so, it all can sum up to a large amount of money
in total.
