Sorry, still working on this project.

I found the red hose locally. They call it heater hose. The largest they can get in an uncut length is 1". Someone earlier stated they used 1 1/8".

Is 1" sufficient flow?

How did you install it? I first was thinking I'd need something to connect from the oem hoses to the replacement red hose, that is the red hose replacing only the pipe. But then I thought the red hose could go all the way from the engine to the radiator. No messing with those old hoses or some makeshift connections.

Any thoughts?
