The German exhaust emission regulations are very different from the US standard. They are not comparable. But on the other hand, the parts are identical, except one major part: The Engine Management Box

I have no details on the emission test specifications, but to get an approval for an engine / car model combination you have to pass a test with a duration of about three days. For a renewal of the certificate (every two years) it does not need more than a CO reading according to the manufacturer definition.

It does not help you if some Germans will send you their computer print of local exhaust emission test. It just tells about some CO readings, idle speed, oil temps and other for you uninteresting details.
