Also a possibility: I have travelled/camped a lot around the southwest, and
the big (starry) sky, oceans of land, and all the evidence of ancient human
communities make it a wonderful region to experience life in
millennial/eternal terms.
A lot of great spots/campgrounds -- especially at that time of year --
including Mesa Verde, CO, Chaco Canyon, NM, and Monument Valley AZ/UT......
and SORTA centrally located.
