Yes, you can (and I have for noisy lifters) after an oil change, substituting the MMO for a quart of oil. This will clean things up, but check your oil every time you get gas because the MMO/oil mix will be partially consumed or vaporized more rapidly than plain motor oil. I usually am down a quart about twice as soon as usual with this treatment.
