Are you referring to what the folks around my town call the infamous "Yellow Death"? It's this yellow glue that has to peel/WEAR off your skin...great for rubber seals though, if your not sloppy. I used it on a 72 bug convert once, haha, as well as my buses. They make a clear glue too for attaching things like trimstrips and emblems. Distributed by Locktite. "Permatex" brand. "Super Weatherstrip Adhesive", item no 80638, Part no 80B. (reading info off a small leaky tube I have here, ugh) Other folks may sell a version of it.
