Subject: Yokohama Tire Report - Update #2
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Back again with more exciting tire news ! Monday morning I called Michelin's head office here in Canada and got them to sell me four Michelin Agilis ! I was told that they are not for sale to the general public and are being kept for replacement on vehicles that came equipped from the factory with them. After much pleading, begging and stories about how I couldn't live without them, they agreed to let me have four of them. So, with that settled I decided not to fight with Yokohama as they would probably only end up trying to give me more Y370's which I was not really interested in having after my experience with the cords shifting in one of mine and three or four other reports of the same coming in from other list members. So, yesterday I got the four Michelin Agilis installed at Frizby Tire here in Kanata and they came to $123.63 CND each. plus installation and taxes. Came to a whopping $619.76 total ! So there goes my Christmas money ! So........now I have three (3) Yokohama Y370 LT195/75R14's with 42,116 km on them for sale. Probably about 30,000 km of use left in them. Maybe could be used by someone like me who has a problem with one and can't afford to change out all four to get back to four tread wear balanced tires. You folks with Y370's on your vans, keep this info handy and if you need one or more of these tires, just make me a reasonable offer. Next report will be on the Michelin Agilis !

Cheers & Happy Holidays
