I've thought about it, like building a platform over the area that the passenger's seat is. But, then, I'm not sure where to put the seat when not in use (storage is an issue). So, my 50lb Alaskan Husky gets herself in a position to fit on the seat. I thought about reclining the seat, but it doesn't really recline that much.
