Hi all,

A few of you have voiced complaints about the scheduling of the Syncro Safari 2000 and it's conflict with the event called "Burning Man".

I doubt that I will be able to change the date. I had expected to make it earlier, but there is really one great group campsite in the area and it was already reserved for EVERY other week that I could make it. I visited Mammoth and surveyed all the group campsites in the area. Other group sites are either pretty much "in town" in Mammoth lakes or just not suitable for our size group. Also, other sites were grouped side-by-side with many other campers. This site is large enough for our group and is reserved for our exclusive use. Also, with families and kids attending, having water and "facilities" at a campsite is important for someplace we plan to be for a week.

With the limit of about 12 Syncros at the Syncro Safari 2000, this event isn't for everybody. Perhaps we can see you at Syncro Safari 2001?

Sorry for the conflict, Jim Davis
